New Release – Top Of The World by Sugartown Slim

“The inspiration for the song came from an unexpected number 1 Canadian chart position for ‘Catching Fireflies‘ that we unofficially released last year. It cheered us up a great deal! We wanted to share a little optimism given the strange times we’re in with ‘Top Of The World’.”

“We might describe ‘Top Of The World’ as an up-beat, fun song that reminds the listener that most things are possible even in the face of adversity. The song lifted our spirits when we recorded it and if it has a similar effect on our listeners, all the better!”

“We recorded ‘Top Of The World’ in a shed, albeit quite a nice shed in deepest darkest Wiltshire. As producer and sugary half of Sugartown Slim, Andrew Giddings and I live 160 miles apart, we exchanged creative & mix ideas over the internet until we were both happy.”
