What was your most streamed song in 2020?

My most streamed song of 2020 was ‘When I think about you’ which is the lead single from my aforementioned EP. I didn’t expect it to resonate so much with people, I still get messages on Instagram and Twitter asking me to make a breakdown/in the studio video for that song, so that might be happening soon too!

What’s your favourite song in the Cool 20 Hall of Fame?

My favourite song in the Cool 20 Hall of fame is definitely ‘Phasin‘ by Sophie Dorsten. I looovee that song, I still listen to it regularly and play it for anyone who asks me to put them on new music.

What are your plans for 2021?

My plans for 2021 are still fairly vague, but I do have lots of projects and music I’m hoping to release. One of the only concrete plans I have is my EP that drops January 1st 2021. It’s called ‘Alvinos vs Lofi’ and it’s the result of me experimenting with lofi music for the first time. It’s a unique and refreshing take on lofi music that I can’t wait to share with everyone!

I also have another project that I’ve been working on for the past 3 months, that I hope to release in February. It’s a contemporary art-piece-re-imagining of Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’; it consists of a new remix of the song as well as accompanying abstract visuals that I designed myself.
